Well the first bit of feedback has to be the incredible location of this hotel. Literally a 5 minute stroll from the Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Square. And the views from the rooms at the front of the hotel are more than worth paying the extra for - this must be the closest hotel to the Hagia Sophia as it is literally in front of you! Amazing location. Secondly, the staff at this hotel are stand-out. Everyone on reception, the managers, the bell boy and door porters were all so helpful, friendly, polite and welcoming. Special thanks to the Day Manager who greeted us on arrival with a cup of coffee and provided information about the local area and tours we could take. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you again to say thank you for everything, but am sure your colleague passed on our thanks. And huge thanks too, to the Manager who helped me locate our transfer vehicle when we checked out, and went above and beyond escorting me to the people carrier. The service from everyone who works at the And Hotel is friendly and incredible, so please do tip the team! The rooms themselves are clean if a bit dated, the beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet upstairs is plentiful and fresh. The view from the 360 terrace is absolutely stunning and must be one of the best in Istanbul.

Great location. We had a room with balcony on the 5th floor which had the best view you can imagine in Istanbul, with Hagia Sofia directly in front of the balcony and very good visiblity also of the other main historical attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Irene, Justice Tower / Topkapi, Hurrem Hamam, parc, the exit from the Basilica Cistern, and also the new TV tower,.All these top historical sites are just in max. 3 min walking distance. Waiking up with the beautiful view of Hagia Sofia and sitting in the evening/night on the balcony enjoying a drink with this amazing view was every cent worth. The staff was very friendly and the room cleaning was done every day with the exchange of all bed sheets and towels. If you don't get this type of room you still can enjoy the view from the restaurant on top (6th floor) which has a terrace from where you see not only all these main attractions but also the Bosphorus, while you enjoy your coffee at breakfast or the dinner.

The balconey and view is the best thing about this accommodation. It was spacious and we could see both hagia sophia and blue mosque. The room, however, did not match the price point. The room was small, and the carpeted floor had wobbly spots?? It was the only accommodation we stayed at that had a sign to not flush toilet paper, which caught us by surprise. The hot water in the shower was inconsistent and the plumbing was mixed up so I had to turn the tap to cold water to get the hot water (discovered after waiting in the cold for a few minutes for the freezing water to get warm). The rooftop restaurant is the most overpriced restaurant we saw in the area, although the view is great. The customer service was great but definitely room for improvement.

We have stayed at the AND Hotel in the past, so we knew what to expect, and we were not disappointed. First, the staff is wonderful. We appreciated the friendliness and willingness to accommodate our needs. I hope I spell the manager's name correctly: Necati. He was gracious, smiling, and helpful. Thank you. All the staff was polite and helpful. Our room was excellent: great view of the old town, Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, and the waters of the Bosporus. The balcony had an awning to protect it from sun and rain. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The restaurant staff was polite, and the restaurant had a commanding 360-degree view from atop the building. The location of the AND Hotel is beyond superb. The photo is the view from our room.

we ate four times at the restaurant at the and hotel. Two breakfasts and two dinners. The breakfast was buffet and had a wonderful variety of local cuisine for us to taste and enjoy. 360 panoramic view from the restaurant was just awesome! Both in the day and in the night. the dinners at night where beautifully prepared and served. We have no complaints other than the hungry birds that were around! Actually, they were quite a thing to watch! The front desk called us a cab to get to our next stop, they handled our bags, and loaned us a voltage adapter for our room! They were much more than accommodating.
